Welcome to Bleach the World. You’ve clicked on this link because you are probably making a new character, so we'll walk you through, step by step on how to do so. Guide Created by Shiyana with Modifications by Rain
I. Pick your race:
There are different character races or soul classes to chose from. On Bleach the World, we pride ourselves on the amount of Soul Classes we offer. Currently, you can select from Shinigami, Hollow, Togabito (Sinners), Bount (Bounto), Mod Soul, and various Human Types: High Spec, Fullbring, Quincy or Shinigami Substitute. Consult our Bleach Library, for information on a specific Soul Class. Our Library has information specific to the different classes, such as their ranks EXP ranks, ability breakdown, back story and more. Once you chose your Soul Class, remember that you start with 100XP. If you're a returning member, you start with 500XP and are able to purchase that rank directly, omiting the ranks below it.
II. Creating your character:
You’ve finally got a race picked out and have probably started plotting on how to get your character from here to there, but each character needs a profile, and so dependent on your character, make sure you look here.
Once you've grabbed your template, it's important to follow the template and fill out all the required information. Our templates act as a guide for each Race and do have some variances. Also, please note that every Soul Class has 3 Mastery Slots. Slot 1 is a Complete Mastery, enabling you to go all the way in the discipline. Slot 2 is an Intermediate Mastery, enabling you to go up to Expert Rank in that field. Slot 3 is a Beginner Mastery, meaning you know can learn the first level of that field. Masteries in the Character template go at the bottom.
III. Creating your power:
Once your character is in the application process, you can put your power in the process as well. Look at the templates here and make sure you pick the power correspondent to your race. Each race has a unique set of powers, so be sure to follow the template. Powers, for the most part, are unique to each race. Even Shinigami Substitute powers are different from Shinigamis! If you'd like to see some already accepted powers so that you know how to gauge your power, look here. Remember that we do not allow plagiarism. We'll have a detailed guide on submitting your powers soon. It takes Two approvals for your power to be approved. 1 by a mod and Admin, or 2 by Admins.
That’s the application process!
We've also compiled a list of Frequently Asked Questions. We'll be updating these from time to time.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q:I see these NPCs everywhere what exactly are they?
A: NPCs are characters designed for progressing the story, they have restrictions imposed on them such as location, and their interactions with other characters.
Q: So NPCs can't come and kill me because my hollow is on earth?
A: No, They cannot, however if you appear in a thread the NPC is in and harass them, you have to reap those consequences.
Q: A NPC is in a position I want, its not fair, I really want it.
A: That isn't really a question, however you are more than able to challenge that pc for its position, or out right take it, if possible.
Q: So, as a shinigami, my rank is 7th Seat, is that my position in my division?
A: No, actually, your character's rank, is not the same as your character's division title. Your division commander, or kyle if there is no captain, can give you any title in that division, or you can challenge someone for their title.
Q: So how do I actually get stronger?
A: To get stronger you spend your XP in the Shop, and form there you can buy ranks, mysteries, and more powers.
Q: I see that I have to purchase ranks, so if I horde 1000 XP can I instantly spend it on that rank without purchasing the others?
A: No, ranks have to be purchased rank by rank. Meaning if you have 500 XP for the huamn spiritual rank, you actually have to purchase the ranks prior before you can get that one.
Q: I transfered my character in, or I'm a previous member bringing back a character from before, I have to rank up one rank at a time?
A: Transfered characters or Previous members xp's bonus' can be used to instantly reclaim the highest rank available. We reward commitment and curiosity!
Q: I want to be a Arrancar or Visord, why can't I?
A: Not at the moment, however if you're interested I suggest starting out as a shinigami or hollow and working your way towards it ;)
Q: So, when classes that I can't start off as are open, how do I join them when they're avaliable?
A: Refer to their guidebook in our Bleach Library. Or even ask a moderator for assistance.
Q: How does the faceclaim work?
A: You can claim the imagine of a character from a non liveaction piece of work (Art, video games, anime). When creating your charater you get to keep that claim for 72 hours, after your character is approved then that faceclaim is yours until your character's Absolute death.
Q: How many characters can I have?
A: At the moment there are no restrictions on characters, however we'd like you to know your limit on how many you can handle.
